Capital Hotel

  • Location: Denpasar, Bali
  • Building: Hotel
  • Site Area: 2100
  • Total Floor Area: 6500

Situated near to the airport and in the centre of Bali’s main destination hubs, this looks to create a strong, identifiable building along one the main central roads on the island. In order to achieve this, the facade has played upon the typical efficient unit layout and overlayed a playful geometric frame for shading and supporting the balconies. This is juxtaposed with a woven screen which together helps to keep heat of the building mass while also creating spectacular lighting effects at night.

The facilities include a feature restaurant, rooftop spa, gym, meeting rooms, standard and penthouse suites, along with a juice cafe. The interiors here continue the geometry to the inside creating scenes that will be republished by guests due to their uniqueness.
Another attractive feature is the use of sustainable finishing materials throughout, mainly recycled timbers and strand woven reconstituted bamboo.
