The redevelopment of 30 Old Bailey aims to create an exemplary office scheme on a landmark site in the heart of the City of London. The scheme makes a fitting and positive contribution to the surrounding urban context and reintegrates the site with the surrounding streets. The scheme comprises two principal buildings arranged around a dramatic new public space, separated by a new pedestrian route. The buildings, constructed from the highest quality, naturally sourced materials and using pioneering energy-efficient design solutions, creates a vibrant, sympathetic environment for workers and visitors.

The buildings will provide state-of-the-art office accommodation, with the flexible design allowing for the greatest possible range of sizes and types of user. Private landscaped terraces feature on the fifth-floor recess used for functions or as staff break-out areas.

The design features a metamorphosing chequered-board glazed frontage on the nine-store semi-circle development. An intriguing blend of materials including recycled glass, integrated into a dynamic form, creates an iconic building to attract high caliber tenants.
