INSPIRAL ARCHITECTS RECEIVED 2 AWARDS AT AHEAD AWARDS ASIA 2023
Bali, September 2023 – Inspiral Architecture and Design Studio is thrilled to announce that Ulaman Eco-Luxury Resort has been honored with the Sustainability special award at the AHEAD Asia Awards 2023. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to creating an environmentally conscious and sustainable resort.
Our locally sourced bamboo structures, complemented by rammed earth walls for insulation, showcase our dedication to utilizing eco-friendly materials. Furthermore, we have provided specialist construction training to the local community to ensure the maintenance of these structures. The open-plan design of our resort promotes natural ventilation, reducing the need for artificial cooling systems. Additionally, we have implemented renewable energy sources such as turbines, hydro, and solar electricity to power the resort, further minimizing our carbon footprint. To enhance its sustainability efforts, Ulaman Eco-Luxury Resort has incorporated various operational processes, including greywater systems and organic farm-to-table dining. These initiatives not only contribute to our eco-friendly practices but also provide our guests with a unique and wholesome experience.

The AHEAD Awards is a prestigious platform that celebrates excellence in hospitality experience and design. With its four regional annual awards programs, it recognizes the outstanding achievements of individuals and organizations shaping the hospitality industry across Asia, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa (MEA), and Europe. The award ceremony for AHEAD Asia took place at the Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay, on September 20, 2023.
